Hello, Rainidears!

I have a great deal to be thankful for this Thanksgiving! Because of the overwhelming generosity and support of all who donated to our Idris-P Fundraiser, we were able to reach 100% of our goal ($1500) by November 24th in time to purchase the Idris-P Corvette! What makes this news even more exciting is that CIG did not raise the price of the Idris-P like they warned. We were able to purchase the Idris-P Corvette for $1250 with enough leftover to get a Xi'An Scout, which will be available for use by Organization members.

I feel very fortunate not only to have an Idris Corvette -- of which only 700 have been singularly sold -- but to have obtained it with the support of my stream's Viewers. When it was first proposed that I organize a fundraiser to obtain an Idris-P for the Organization that I was planning to make in Star Citizen, I could never have anticipated that we would reach the entirety of such a large fundraising goal in such a brief period of time. The support that all of you have shown me is incredible and has gone above and beyond what I could have ever imagined being possible. I feel overwhelmed and proud to have a community this passionate about games and supportive of my stream!

Every single donation to this fundraiser made a difference (it was a donation of $10 that pushed us to 100% funded). However, there is one person who is too humble for his own good that I would very much like to thank, and that is John_Aitc. When this page was sitting here with only $10 donated, John made a very generous donation that got the ball rolling. There are others, too, who made incredibly generous donations and I just want all of you to know that none of this would have been possible without you!

I am looking forward to the time when RSI will make it possible for me to put all of the ships that I own into my Organization so that Viewers can participate by making use of ships like my Constellation, Starfarer, and Xi'an Scout freely.

If I have learned anything from Viewer response to this fundraiser (including e-mails that people have sent -- you know who you are), it is that there are many Viewers just as excited for Chris Roberts' vision of a spacesim as I am. The day when I can finally Captain the Idris-P out of her dock with a full compliment of Viewers as her crew cannot come soon enough.

I can't wait to meet all of you within the galaxy of Star Citizen! Thank you, everyone, and have a Happy Thanksgiving (whatever the nationality)!
